The owners of this tall and narrow Corktown rowhouse were looking to update their home and relieve it of its cramped and claustrophobic layout. The ground floor was redesigned with a new kitchen overlooking the dining and living rooms, and a new open stair was installed to allow light to flow through the length of the home. Unused attic space was reclaimed and converted to a nursery, conveniently located next to the relocated master retreat.
