The owners of this beautiful century house in the Beaches neighourhood wanted to update and expand their home in order to accommodate their growing family. It was important to maintain and preserve the original character of the house and neighbourhood while introducing contemporary and fresh interventions. The main floor was reconfigured to create an open and flowing space for living and playing. Oversized glass sliding doors were installed to connect the lush exterior space with the interior and extend the living room outwards on warm spring and summer days.
